Wild Places of the Heart

. . . let there always be wild-scenic places upon the earth, where man's hand and concept of development is kept at bay. Where he himself can interject himself into the environs therein, without having some form of greed derived from monetary gain influencing his views of it. Thus, obtaining the simple pleasure of finding himself wholly absorbed within it: the natural world as it be.. And if it constitutes some form of recreation (nonabusive or nondestructive) that delights him (touches his heart & soul) then he will be forever better off for it, as well as those environs he seeks.
