Twin Falls Lake - 1979

While stepping from the conifer forest call,
To my surprise rendered the view of a splendid roaring waterfall.
Behold, a small rainbow appeared at its base,
I sat in awe witnessing the tranquil state of nature's lovely face.

With echoes of the falls roaring through my ears,
I grabbed the camera to click away that of nature's tears.
And in the moment while the rainbow appeared,
My lens clicked once and then it all disappeared.

There was something remarkable in the event,
Something of beginning and never-ending like Lent.
What a privilege it had been and I felt blessed,
To see the white pouring veil ...... the rainbow had caressed.
