"George, tie me a fly that resembles the sunrise we see unfolding beyond the river and mountains this morning," my grandfather stated as he and my father George were enroute to do some winter fly fishing on the Skykomish River near the small town of Monroe. Steelhead was their game...and thus the Skykomish Sunrise was born.
