Afar she waits me along my struggled path,
Singing tunes of cradlesong like taking babe to bath.

Redden-hue shoulders and ice-blue glacial fuss,
No discourse, no road, nor track from bus.

Away fears of rugged earth . . . I never wish to leave,
I am here with open arms and ready to receive.

So touch me with things you wish me to convey,
The enchantment, the simple, the little green things in forest way.

And in my plod let me not stray,
Here me my brethren of the freckled fray . . .

The earth is to enjoy however raw it be,
Just remember benevolence in the walk to be free.
