QUINAULT RIVER RAINBOWS
~ Where the River Rushes ~

Liken to the rush of the wild wind with its vocal cords howling,
the river swirls forth sometimes ranting,
but usually it's murmuring enchanting sounds as if sweet music were being played.
And as I walk the gravel bars from one to another,
steelhead or salmon fishing its bouncing riffles and deep-emerald pools,
surrounded by huge spruce, cedars and Douglas fir trees adorn with clinging-moss,
elk graze, eagles soar. And I think, this is my Utopia...
