Eagle's Nest notes of Aug. 1980:

  Up the mountain I climbed to where the earth meets the sky. Upon arriving, I was not disappointed with the 360 degree view nor the 2,500 foot vertical plunge into Lake Twenty-two. Thus, almost every year I return again and again to absorb the view once more.....
