Koma Kulshan Nude Adventure
The weather was grand:
blue-blue sky and a wide open sun sending temperatures into the high 80s
upon my quest to seize another wonderful photograph of Koma Kulshan (Great White Watcher)
or more commonly known as Mt. Baker. In fact, it was much too hot as I hiked and climbed
miles upwards to the sky, so I stripped off all my clothes and went nude
and fully exposed to the wild world before me.
Nowhere was there another human nor any evidence of ones
passing . . . I was completely alone in thought and being. I walked onward
removed from my clothes and free from society's grasp, much like that of the
feeling of the loss of gravity one might experience in space. Thus, I let go of all worldly insecurities
humanity had handed me and walked upon the earth like that of ancient man . . . stark naked,
except for my hat to shade my brow and the boots I used to walk with.
Later, I did put a T-shirt on to rid the sun from burning me.
Koma Kulshan was now in my face and within my grasp;
beauty beholding and keeping me there 'till well after 8:00 PM.
And my camera clicked away to the magnificent scene of ice, snow, crags and peaks,
to old growth forests jutting therefrom primeval earth.
For hours, time stood still . . . it could have been in ancient times
for I saw and felt nothing from the present, except for my camera, boots and hat.
Humbled by the awesome beauty of nature and its pull upon me, reluctantly,
I returned back down the mountain to present day time and once again
into the realm of society's chains and rules at every turn.
