In search of a raw-vast view, I climbed up a steep-rocky gully and wandered along the ridge climbing the pinnacles where they posed. From high above lay the indigo-colored lake far below. With camera gear in hand, I went about the reposed process of capturing the breathtaking image that lay before me. And in my gut, there was a certain feeling of accomplishment when the shutter clicked, as well as a deep profound awe-sensation with regard to the beauty of the alpine land . . . what inevitably drives men to climb mountains if not for sheer wanderlust, I thought.
