Early Morning Spire, Marble Needle, Dorado Needle in my face to the left, impressive crown of glory Eldorado Peak to my right, The Triad block jutting out just ahead. Deep-ravined Marble Creek Cirque and rugged Backbone Ridge nearby, view of Boston Peak afar. Wildflowers in bloom pungent with their smell. Beyond and over the top: pea-green glacial Moraine Lake, Mc Allister Glacier, Mount Torment and stark Forbidden Peak. Mountain air crisp and pure now into my lungs, yonder the endless horizon view of snow-clad peaks...
