Earth, Man, and Creator

The earth was not created for man alone, despite what some would have you believe (Genesis) therefrom certain religions of the globe. Man is only a part of it and a very small part considering the earth and other creatures roamed upon it for millions of years, long before man ever enter the picture. It would be unscientific and narrow-minded to think otherwise. No religious doctrine can contradict the fossils of life and earth changes that transpired before biblical times. See: Discovery.com

Within the realm of the ever-changing earth and universe that surrounds man, his destiny, ultimately lies within himself and his environment at hand . . . like the creatures that have gone before him. Destiny does not lie in the axis of Armageddon, though man does have the power to destroy his own self. Surely, his spirit will always dwell where the mountains meet the sky.

When I walk upon the earth, I do so with the utmost respect for what our Creator bestowed upon us. In so doing however, I am open-minded enough to realize that man is no image of greatness, and is really just a tiny speck of flesh and bone living among the various other creatures on one of the many great planets of the universe. Further, man is not alone where other life on other planets are concerned. And humbled, thus I leave my footprints.....
