The real search for obscure-remote places of grandeur complete with extreme solitude only exists beyond the normal hiking experience, where one must get off the beaten path (go off-trail) or trails far from the crowds and seek out the true wilderness realm. Only then, will he really experience primeval earth and extreme places of wild grandeur. He will then know himself and the wild: his frailty and his own hidden strength, as well as the meaning of raw and powerful "yet fragile" earth, thus becoming a disciple of the state "wild" and its true meaning.
